Wendy Briley
Hi, my name is Wendy Briley, and I am looking forward to helping you achieve your college dreams. Every student is different and has their own story to tell, and I want to empower each student to learn how to tell theirs. In turn, helping them become the very best college applicant they can be. Independent Educational Consultant
Cole Chance
We are excited to welcome Cole Chance to our team as an Independent Educational Consultant. Cole earned his BS/BA in Accounting from Appalachian State University and his Master of Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He further strengthened his expertise by completing the IECA Summer Training Institute for Independent Educational Consultants in 2025.
As a former recruited college athlete and graduate student, Cole brings firsthand insight into the academic, athletic, and personal considerations students face throughout the college journey. His unique blend of academic rigor, admissions knowledge, and lived experience allows him to thoughtfully guide students and families through the college planning process with clarity and confidence.

Social Media Coordinator
Lexi Uva
We are excited to highlight Lexi as an integral part of the Briley College Consulting team. Lexi earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Health Studies from Appalachian State University in 2017. During her time at App State, she played club lacrosse all four years.
She was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and served as a founding member of the Nu Alpha chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She also broadened her global perspective through a study abroad experience in Granada, Nicaragua, in 2016.
In 2023, Lexi completed the Independent Educational Consultant Certificate Program at the University of California, Irvine. She has been a flight attendant with United Airlines since 2018, bringing a global outlook and strong interpersonal skills to her work with students and families. Lexi began serving as the Social Media Coordinator for Briley College Consulting in 2020 and continues to collaborate closely with Wendy and the BCC team. Her diverse experiences, professionalism, and dedication make her a valued member of our organization.
